Project Overview
For this custom residential home in a modern style, the owners knew they wanted to incorporate bamboo throughout the design. Lamboo, the only manufacturer on the market available to provide the types of products they required, was more than happy to work with the designer and builder to create the custom products for their designs. Lamboo also provided support, education, and assistance during construction to ensure that products were installed correctly.
Challenge
The home combines a fresh, contemporary design with the natural appeal of bamboo. Because Lamboo’s products are so beautiful, they can be used as part of the primary design without needing to be covered after installation. Working hand-in-hand with the designer and builder, Lamboo brought their personal touch to this project by assisting in the design of a number of custom applications for both the interior and exterior of the home, while ensuring that the installation worked for everyone involved.
Because the builder had never worked with these materials before, Lamboo provided step-by-step support to ensure that the pieces were put together correctly and finished properly. With extensive expertise, experience, and degrees in engineering, Lamboo’s core leadership provided a personal touch throughout the duration of the project.

The home won several awards and was featured in a local magazine as one of the top newly built homes in the area. The owners were so thrilled with the end results that they will be using Lamboo again for their upcoming new home in Hawaii.
